Day 7 of the Phoenix Trip.
We spent the day touring the Phoenix area. Not a lot of sites we were interested in compared to other large cities, but we found a few.
I read about the South Mountain Park, which is basically a large native habitat preserved. It is also the largest city park in the country. Great photo ops.

We stopped in Tempe, AZ because Ayme went to college here. She checked out her old stomping ground and we also checked out the Tempe City Hall which is an upside down pyramid.
We also went shopping at Cabela's in Glendale, AZ. It is an amazing outdoors store complete with manufactured scenery. All those stuffed animals were creepy but they seemed to have gotten one of everything.
I replaced my hiking boots. This time i intend to wear them out before they fall apart :)
